The liberation struggle in South Africa was founded on the simple principles of human rights that were enshrined in the famous FREEDOM CHARTER of the 1950s. This was the unshakable foundation of the liberation struggle by countless patriots.
Mysteriously, these fundamental rights of the South African people have not only been completely sidelined, but completely ignored by the elitist regime. It is as if they never existed.

The current leadership has completely desecrated the original Freedom Charter and replaced it with what is very clearly an agenda to corporatise the whole country - by selling all the natural resources and assets that belong to the people, to multinational corporations that enslave the people. The most obvious example is the selling of our national roads to private companies that erect toll gates everywhere, preventing people from travelling freely in their own country without being hijacked by criminal corporations that have stolen our roads. The elitist government has replaced apartheid by absolute economic slavery of the people - stealing the country and the land from the people.

Below is the Freedom Charter of the WABUNTU Societal Platform, adopted from the UBUNTU Liberation Movement. This is the foundation of true freedom and liberty for the people by the people. Please read and share with those who strive for true freedom and liberty of people everywhere.

The NEW Freedom Charter

Adopted by the people at the launch of the WABUNTU DECENTRALIZED SOCIETAL SYSTEM.

• The government has betrayed the dreams of majority of South Africans, past and present, including countless elders of integrity, who lived and died for the freedom of their people
• The government has desecrated the Freedom Charter and all our Human Rights
• They have maliciously enslaved every one of us to their corporate government and the global banking elite
• The New Freedom Charter serves the needs of the people and highlights our inalienable Human Rights as living breathing human beings
• Today our people are more enslaved than ever before
• This is a living document that will continue to change with the times and the needs of the people, not the needs of government or corporations

We, the People of South Africa, declare for all our country and the world to know that:

South Africa and the land belong to all who live in it;

The government and large multinational corporations have stolen the country and our land from its people;

The people need to take it back;

Our government has been turned into an unlawful corporation with undefined shareholders, without the knowledge of the people;

No government has the right to rule the people and control their land unless it has been appointed by the people lawfully, not under false pretences or deceptions of any kind;

The government has enslaved the people to a private corporation called THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA;

This corporation has used its courts and its judges to enforce the laws of the corporation on the people of South Africa;

The people have unwittingly been turned into property and slaves in servitude to the corporation;

The corporation called THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA has used human beings, who serve in the police and other security enforcement agencies, against their fellow human beings, not knowing that they are upholding the rights of a corporation against their own brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers, desecrating all their Human Rights and Common Law in the process;

Our Human Rights have been desecrated by the Constitution, which is not a constitution of the people but a constitution to uphold the rights of the corporation called THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA;

The people of the land called South Africa have appointed the government to serve the people of South Africa and implement the will of the people at all time;

The people retain the right to replace the government at any time by peaceful means and public referendum, if they feel that their needs are not being taken care of;

No government, political party, corporation or individual can claim ownership of the land or any part thereof;

And therefore, we, the people of South Africa, all free and equal, countrymen and brothers adopt this New Freedom Charter of the year 2010;

And we pledge ourselves to strive together, sparing neither strength nor courage, until our inalienable rights and common law have been restored to the people and our land.

The People Shall Govern!

New laws and new governing structures will be created based on the will of the people on a local and national level;

People will have the full right to govern themselves in their own communities, not dictated to by any centralised power structure;

The reintroduction of African tribal structures combined with a Council of Elders will be implemented to manage and advise communities;

These new tribal councils will adopt the fundamental principles of UBUNTU Contributionism to enhance their ability to guide and advise the people;

Every man and woman shall have the right to stand as a candidate for all such councils that represent their communities and uphold the laws;

These councils will consist of people, representing the needs of the people in their community, not people representing corporations in communities or any other level in any way;

All people shall be entitled to take part in the administration of the country, town or community in accordance with the newly developed laws by the people;

Transparency will be upheld at all levels of every council, allowing everyone, at all times access to any information;

All decisions made will be publicised through every medium possible, to the entire community, and/or country, wherever its influence falls, to ensure that everyone is aware of the decisions made on a daily basis;

The people of every community or country have the right to remove any councillor who proves to be inefficient or undesirable in the eyes of the people;

The rights of the people shall be the same, regardless of race, colour, gender or physical ability;

All People and National Groups Have Equal Rights!

The principle of UNITY will be the foundation of all communities and the national governing body;

All people shall have equal right to use their own languages, and to develop their own culture and customs as long as it does not infringe on the customs of others;

The diversity and beauty of our cultures and languages will be promoted and celebrated as widely as possible;

All national groups shall be protected by law against insults to their race and national pride;

There shall be no hierarchy or levels of superiority in any aspects of society, every person’s contribution will be valued as equally important as any other;

All discriminatory laws and practices shall be set aside;

The use of money and wealth as tools of separation, segregation and discrimination will be abolished;

The People Shall Share in the Country's Wealth!

The national wealth of our country, the heritage of South Africans, shall be restored to the people and new applicable laws will be created to benefit and protect the people on all fronts;

All mineral wealth above or beneath the ground will be controlled by the people and used for the benefit of all people and all communities – it will not be allowed to be monopolised by individuals, corporations or any ruling body;

All international trade shall be adapted by the people to assist the wellbeing of all the people;

All industry and manufacturing shall be supported in all possible ways to deliver abundance of all things to all people, and not for the benefit of corporations at the expense of the people;

All people shall have equal rights to choose any trade, craft or professions they wish to participate in and all training and education to attain their profession will be free;

The Banking and financial system and the control of the printing of money will be eradicated until there is no more need for money in our society whatsoever;

The Land Shall be Shared Among Those Who Work It!

Land usage shall be adapted to benefit all the people, and made available to those who work it, to banish famine and hunger;

Farmers who feed the people are the heroes of the land and will be given land, tools, seeds, implements and all assistance necessary to maximise the production of their crops and produce for the people;

Since the land belongs to all the people, land ownership will be abolished and replaced by new land usage laws of the new society, which will benefit all the people;

Since money will no longer be part of the system, no land will be sold or owned by individuals, or corporations, or in any other way possible;

Existing farmers will be required to use their land for the benefit of the community, or teach other new farmers to farm the vacant land to help feed the people;

Everyone who contributes towards the community will be given as much land as is required to perform their task;

The people in each community will plan and implement the reconstruction of their community, development of public parks and recreational areas to the greatest benefit of the community;

Every community will have the right to control a specified area around its boundaries for the production of food, growing crops and other farming necessities;

These boundaries will be specified by the new laws to be introduced under the equal rights of Contributionism and based on the population in the community;

Each community will be encouraged to become more than self-reliant and self-sufficient on the agricultural products they produce;

Food will be distributed nationally between communities and to those communities that are unable to provide for themselves, and all food and other farming or agricultural produce will be available to the people for free;

All people shall have the right to settle in any community they choose and contribute to their community with their skills or talents;

All Shall be Equal Before the Law!

A new legal system of basic common law will be implemented as drafted by the people for the people and the whole country, BUT each community will have the right to add new specific laws for the greatest benefit of their specific community;

Each community will have the right to govern its town and boundaries according to the laws created by the community, as long as the laws do not clash with the basic common laws of the nation;

No-one shall be imprisoned, deported or restricted without a fair trial based on the new legal system implemented by the people under Contributionism;

The courts shall be representative of all the people;

Imprisonment shall be only for serious crimes against the people, and shall aim at re-education, not vengeance;

The police and army shall be open to all on an equal basis and shall be the helpers and protectors of the people;

The police and the army will be restructured based on the needs of the people and the will of the people; they will be given all the tools and support necessary to perform their tasks as required by the new legal requirements under Contributionism;

The police and the army will be regarded as peace officers;

All Shall Enjoy Equal Human Rights!

Universal Human Rights are upheld as the supreme rights of all human beings;

No other rights shall be held higher, or imposed as superior to Human Rights;

All humans are equal in all aspects under the UBUNTU CONTRIBUTION SYSTEM;

No one has the right to undermine or erode our inalienable Human Rights in any way;

The Council of Elders will create respective laws, as agreed to by the people of every community, and on a collective national level, how to deal with those that breach the rights of others, especially the Human Rights of others;

There is no hierarchy of any kind, as it is not really possible to discriminate against groups or individuals in an UBUNTU community or a society without the class distinctions that have been created by money;

There Shall be Work and Security! (Transition period)

In a free society under the UBUNTU CONTRIBUTION SYSTEM no one shall work for money but for personal satisfaction and pride in their community – money will be removed from the system;

The expression “work” will rapidly fall away in the new society, and will be replaced with a Labour of Love, since all people now follow their passion or God-given talents to enrich their own lives and the lives of others with their contribution to the community;

New laws will be set up by the people regarding the participation and contribution of people, to the many community projects that will be established by each community;

During the transition phase to full Contributionism, everyone who is without a job or business of their own, or an income, will be asked to participate and contribute to the national and local Public Works Projects in which all aspects of transport, health, housing, communication, energy and all other aspects of service delivery will be upgraded and made available to all;

Everyone who contributes will be paid equally and only required to contribute on average five hours per day, as part of the preparation for the transition to full UBUNTU Contributionism;

All who contribute shall receive free food, water, housing and electricity as part of their reward;

Every other person in every trade will be given all the tools, materials and support necessary to perform their task to the best of their ability and highest standard of their craft;

Each member of the community will be required to contribute 3 hours per week towards community building projects, irrespective of what other activity they are part of, or what they contribute to their community;

Each community will be unified and united in its effort to make life as easy and pleasant for everyone to live life and enjoy it to the full;

The Doors of Learning and Culture Shall be Opened!

Education and learning is the most exciting part of growing up and a fundamental part of creating a well-balanced society

The aim of education shall be to teach the youth to love their people and their culture, to honour human brotherhood, liberty and peace; and to be at one with mother Earth;

All education on all levels will be free and children and students will choose whatever they want to learn about;

The current education system and syllabus is completely out of line with people’s needs – the concepts of play and games as part of early learning will be introduced whereby the foundation of literacy will be established rapidly and with ease;

The entire education structure and system will be converted and all classroom based teaching will be abolished;

Classroom teaching will be replaced by an exciting and vibrant sequence of internships, where from an early age children can follow their passion and learn the skills of life, in many different areas, from masters in their fields, so that by the time they are 16 years old, their knowledge will be wide and they will have a very clear idea of what they want to do as part of their contribution to society;

Anyone who is an expert in their field and who is appointed by the community to act as a teacher can choose to become one; such people will teach groups of children as part of their daily process in an internship capacity; the internships will grow longer in time as the children get older and begin to choose more specific areas of learning;

All children will be taught the basic principles of life and survival, soil, water, plants, animals, earth, growing food, planting and harvesting crops in all aspects, to build a strong bond between all the people, and a love and respect for mother Earth; after this they can follow any path of learning they choose;

Anyone at any stage of their life can decide to change their careers and enrol in a program to learn new skills or talents;

The discovery and development of talent for the enhancement of our cultural life will be promoted on all levels;

All the cultural treasures of humankind shall be open to all, by free exchange of books, ideas and contact with all communities and other lands;

The current situation of adult illiteracy shall be ended by a mass community learning plan;

There Shall be Houses, Security and Comfort!

All people shall have the right to live where they choose and become an integral part of the community of their choice;

Slums shall be demolished, and new suburbs built, where all people have transport, roads, lighting, playing fields, crèches and social centres, and more;

Every community will collectively plan and reconstruct their town and settlements based on the will and the needs of the people in that community;

The planning and construction will be done by trained members of the community, or outsiders who have been asked by the leaders of the community to assist in the process;

Eco-friendly designs and structures will replace old structures supplied by previous regimes that had no respect for the people and their communities;

All materials for all areas of building and construction will be provided to the builders by the specific industries in the closest proximity to the community; these will be mines, quarries, forestry, and any other industry which can play the role as a supplier of materials to the community in the short term;

All effort will be made and all advanced levels of technology will be used to uplift the community in areas of telecommunication and IT;

All services will be free, providing free energy, free water, free housing and eventually – free food to the people in the community who contribute their services;

All forms of green energy like solar, wind and hydro energy will be used where possible; methane gas production will be attained from sewage plants;

Everyone will have access to pure, energised clean water because water distribution will be streamlined;

Parks, recreational areas, sporting and cultural facilities, will be designed and constructed according to the needs of each community and the use of all these facilities will be free to all in the community;

There shall be no rent or other charges of any kind inflicted on the people;

Hospitals and care centres will be constructed with the latest technology available in each community;

Free medical care and hospitalisation shall be provided for all, with special care for mothers and young children;

The aged, the orphans, the disabled and the sick shall be cared for by the community and special health centres will be constructed for them where the community feels it is necessary;

There will be no need for health or accident insurance of any kind – all medical care of the highest level will be free to all;

Animal hospitals and rehabilitation centres will be constructed to the best of the ability of each community; the services will be free to all the people;

New alternative medication and treatments will be explored and applied where possible, replacing poisonous drugs developed by current drug companies;

Alternative healers and traditional healers will be given all the support they need to keep discovering natural cures for all disease;

Continued research into natural treatments and cures will be actively promoted by the central governing structures and each community, and all necessary tools and support will be provided for such research;

Fenced locations and ghettos shall be abolished, and laws which break up families shall be repealed by the vision of the community.

Community police and security forums will establish the necessary security structures as determined by the community and its leaders;

They will have the necessary powers granted to them by the laws of each community;

All the necessary tools to implement security measures will be provided to the members of the security forums by the community;

All members of the community will participate in the security forum for a minimum number of hours as stipulated by the laws of each community;

Since money is the key driving force behind most crimes, the UBUNTU community will be mostly crime-free communities and therefore imprisonment and detention will be minimal;

There Shall be FREE Transport for All

All rail, road, and air transport will be free and without toll charges of any kind;

The roads and highways will be upgraded to the best possible quality finish;

All rail roads and railway stations will be refurbished and upgraded and new railroads will be constructed so that they link every town and community across the land, so that everyone may travel by train to every town or community they desire;

Scientists will be supported on all levels to develop new alternative GREEN and FREE-ENERGY transport alternatives;

Such FREE-ENERGY solutions have been covered up in the past by the oil and energy companies who keep enslaving their people – this will not be tolerated and all new discoveries will be promoted and exposed to the people everywhere;

           There Shall be Peace and Friendship and Free Media!

South Africa shall be a fully independent state that respects the rights and sovereignty of all nations;

South Africa shall strive to maintain world peace and the settlement of all international disputes by negotiation - not war or conflict;

Peace and friendship amongst all our people shall be secured by upholding the equal rights, opportunities and status of all, without separation or segregation or any hierarchical structures that cause such segregation of people;

News and information will be distributed through all the normal channels freely, and anyone will have the right to contribute or distribute news and information, or start their own medium for such distribution of information;

Transmission channels for radio, television, internet and any other medium, will not be reserved for the use by an exclusive elite;

Let all people who love their people and their country now say, as we say here:

THESE FREEDOMS WE WILL STRIVE FOR, SIDE BY SIDE, THROUGHOUT OUR LIVES, UNTIL WE HAVE WON OUR LIBERTY AND RECLAIMED OUR COUNTRY AND OUR LAND FROM THE GOVERNMENT AND MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS WHO HAVE UNLAWFULLY STOLEN OUR LAND FROM US AND CLAIMED IT AS THEIR OWN.
